Tom and his wife, Martha, married in 1968 and have 2 married children and 2 grandchildren. Tom and Martha were both raised in small communities southwest of Houston. They made their home originally in Lake Jackson and were members of the Lake Jackson Church of Christ for over 30 years. Martha retired from the church in Lake Jackson after 30+ years as the church secretary. Tom retired from The Dow Chemical Company after 31 years. They moved to McKinney in 2011 to enjoy retirement near their children and grandchildren in the metroplex. After they began attending Prestoncrest, Tom decided to serve at the church by working part time with the church facilities team, and is a vital part of the the crew that helps this church and all its facilities run smoothly. Tom enjoys yard work, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and traveling.
